Recently, Base10 student Niko received the Personal Achievement Award at the City of Onkaparinga Youth Recognition Awards. This award celebrates young people who show dedication, determination and success in their chosen field.
Niko, who has cerebral palsy, has shown an incredible commitment to learning and personal growth through his passion for cyber security and information technology.
Over the past year, he has successfully completed two short courses in cyber security, as well as a Certificate III in Information Technology with a cyber security focus. Niko also completed work experience with the cyber security team at the Department of Treasury and Finance, where he received excellent feedback for his positive attitude, skills and professionalism.
Niko鈥檚 achievements are a wonderful example of perseverance, determination and a strong passion for learning. Everyone at REC is incredibly proud of his success and this well-deserved recognition.
